YOUR WORK. YOUR INFORMATION.

Privacy, in plain language.

How GOD and this support website handle your information.

THE SHORT VERSION

GOD is a coding workspace for iPad. Your project files are not automatically sent to our support team. If you choose to contact us, we receive the messages you send.

01 Information in the app

GOD (General Object Designer) lets you manage files, edit code, preview HTML, run JavaScript, and use language-specific tools. It stores your settings, such as your theme and editor preferences, on your device. Project files are saved in the workspace you choose; files in a cloud-backed folder may also be handled by that storage provider.

The current app does not include advertising or analytics tracking. Saved FTP connection profiles, including credentials, are stored using the iOS Keychain. GOD uses system preferences and file timestamps to support its features.

02 Connections you choose

When you connect to an FTP server, the app sends connection information and file operations to that server. Its operator handles those requests under its own policies. Standard FTP is not encrypted; use trusted networks and appropriate server security.

HTML previews and JavaScript may load remote resources or make network requests as directed by your code. Those services can receive your IP address and other request information. We do not control the content or privacy practices of servers, websites, or storage services you choose.

03 When you contact support

You do not need an account to send a message. This website stores your message text, message times, a random conversation identifier, and support replies so administrators can help you. Only authorized administrators can access the support inbox. Do not include passwords, FTP credentials, or sensitive project content.

If you email support, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use these to respond to your request. Email is handled separately from chat, so the chat deletion control does not delete emails; contact us to request email deletion.

An essential session cookie keeps your conversation associated with this browser. It is not used for advertising. Clearing cookies or switching browsers can remove your access to a conversation. Admin sign-in also uses an essential session cookie.

The chat service temporarily stores a keyed hash of your IP address to limit abuse. Our website host, Hostinger, also processes network requests and may keep security or access logs. The website contains no third-party analytics, advertising scripts, or remotely loaded fonts.

04 Use, storage, and retention

We use support information to respond to requests, troubleshoot problems, and protect the service. Support chat data is stored on our Hostinger hosting server and is not sold or used for targeted advertising. Hosting providers process it to operate the service. Information may also be disclosed when legally required.

Conversations are deleted after 90 days without activity. Administrators can also delete a completed conversation sooner. Closing a conversation preserves its history until it is deleted or expires. You can delete your current conversation sooner using the chat’s “Delete conversation” control. Abuse-prevention records expire after 24 hours. Hosting logs and backups may follow the hosting provider’s own retention schedule.

We protect administrator access with password authentication and restrict access to the chat database. Production connections use HTTPS. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

05 Your choices

You can change app settings, remove saved connection profiles, and delete project files in the app or your chosen file provider. Removing the app may not remove files held by a cloud provider or remote FTP server.

You can request access, correction, or deletion of information you have shared with support through your existing conversation. Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights, including the right to complain to your local privacy authority. We may need enough information to verify the request.

This support service is not directed to children under 13. If a child has shared personal information, contact support to request its removal.

06 Questions and changes

For privacy questions or requests, email support@generalobjectdesigner.com or contact the GOD support team at generalobjectdesigner.com. Please use the browser containing your existing conversation when your request relates to that chat.

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above.

Publication review: the developer’s legal name, hosting server location, and log/backup retention details must be confirmed before this policy is published.
